You can craft almost everything in Graveyard Keeper 2, but a few things are only — or far more easily — bought: Iron Ore before you reach the mines, Ash for ink, Comet’s Tail for the fairy, steel from the Bishop, Special Wood from Harold. This page lists them in route order, then what each merchant stocks.
How buying works
A few rules that save trips:
Money comes in copper, silver and gold: 100 copper make a silver, 100 silver make a gold.
Prices move with stock. Buying a stack makes the later units dearer; selling a stack lowers what each one fetches. Check the final total, not the first unit price.
Shelves only partly refill at the end of each day. Keep a reserve of anything you use a lot.
Seeds are sold — and planted — in groups of four.
Most merchants have three tiers; a quest usually moves them up (Herm after the Wheat samples, Gunter after Problem at the Church, Januarius on election day and again for the Printed Money).

Town shops
Restored Town buildings become shops of a type you choose. The first choice — Linda’s, in Phase 5 — offers the Apothecary, Vegetable Stand or Tailor. Every other shop type comes from research, and each empty plot lets you pick from the types you’ve unlocked for that kind of plot: Artisans I (75 red, 25 green) adds the Builder and Smithy; Artisans II (100 red, 75 green) the Tavern and Brewery; Market Stalls II (130 red, 30 green) the Furniture Maker, Baker and Fish Stand; Market Stalls III (150 red, 50 green) the Alchemist and Jeweler. New plots appear as Herbert frees more of the Town. Our two sources disagree on which research leads to each of these, so follow the tree in your game.
