Enter the refinery
- Enter the refinery. Hard Case 1 is on the left of the table as you first walk into the building, the Bust of Allfather Decha Timgad is on a desk close by, and Hard Case 3 is to the left of the main building’s entrance.
- The objective becomes Find a way to reach the core, starting with crossing the pipeline over the Imulsion. Out of the elevator, two right turns and a ladder lead to Hard Case 2; turning left and crawling through the pipe leads to the Damaged Gas Mask.
The key card
- You need the key card from the security room, which means clearing every enemy in the processing chamber first. The Tyran Business Monthly is in a dark room on the floor below.
- For a while the squad is split in two; the next objective is to regroup with the other pair. Hard Case 4 is on the right just after you meet up, and the room where the Locust were holds Hard Case 5, with Hard Case 6 in the side room beyond it.
Amber Labs
- Enter and investigate the Amber Labs facility. In the office, the board at the very back holds the Memorandum to Dr. Elliot, and the desk on the left of the next room has Dalia Fabbri’s Research Journal. Hard Case 7 is beside one of the computer consoles.
- Stock up at the supply cache by the lift — the boss is next. Hard Case 8 is on the far side of the Imulsion puddle opposite the cache.
Boss: Scoria
- Reach the refinery’s core and kill the Scoria, a hulking creature full of Imulsion.
- How to beat it:
- Shoot the Imulsion bombs embedded in its body — they’re its weak points.
- Stay out of the Imulsion it spits across the floor; move to clean ground whenever a puddle lands near you.
- If more than one is on the field, finish the weakest first so you have fewer threats to track.
- Killing it ends Act 4.
