Alhafra & the Pirates

Yampi Desert: the second half

1. Go back to the second screen of the desert (where the group of travellers was). In the bottom-left corner is a circle in the sand ringed by four stones: cast Scoop to uncover a cave.

2. Inside, go to the top-right corner and climb the ladder outside. Climb the handholds on the wall to your right and down others further left: the same travellers as before.
3. Talk to them, keep going up and, on the next screen, take the top-right door: a cave with sand rivers that drag you along.
4. Reach the top by weaving between the rocks and riding the currents that allow it. At the very top there’s a stake and a chest with a Blow Mace.

5. From there go right, letting the current carry you, and leave by the far right. Keep right and climb down the ladder to the door outside.
6. Outside, go up and right: several rivers and falls of sand. Let the first river carry you and, back on solid ground, go right to the end, up to the end and all the way right.
7. Climb the handholds on the top wall and cross the two rivers on your left without the sand dragging you off. You arrive by some handholds; before climbing, go left and down to a chest: Trainer’s Whip.
8. Go back, climb those handholds and keep up and right, crossing the top of the two rivers again.
9. Stand on the right edge of the rightmost river and let it carry you: when you drop a level you can carry on right. The desert exit is up and to the right.
10. Right outside, go up and left: Alhafra.

Alhafra

1. The travellers from the desert have followed you to town. Talk to them and go to the top right: stairs lead down to the beach.

2. Keep right to a pirate ship. Walk up the gangway on the left: the pirates repairing it talk to you.

3. Go through the upper door, down the stairs and all the way down the corridor to Briggs, who hears you coming and attacks.

4. After the victory, the mayors of Alhafra and Madra lock Briggs up and agree to release Piers.
