Floors that give way, pillars that collapse and a Djinni that keeps running off. You get the Pound Cube (the Pound Psynergy) and the Djinni Cannon.

The way to the plateau

  1. From Daila, leave by the south exit and go down: you can see the Kandorean Temple, but mountains block the way.
  1. Head right along the path on the ground. Cross a bridge and, further down, another one. Keep left to the Dehkan Plateau.

Cracked floors

  1. Climb the stairs to the first area of cracked floor. Here, drop through one of the holes on purpose to reach a cave.
  1. Inside, take the upper-left door: you come out on the far side of the cracked floor. Keep right.
  2. Next screen: hop across the columns to the right side. If you land on a column more than twice it crumbles, and you’ll have to leave the screen and come back.
  3. Head all the way down, then right and up to another area of breakable floor. Cross it without stepping on the half-broken parts. Continue up to the next screen.
  1. Another area of crumbling columns:
    1. Hop onto the first column on your left and from there to the leftmost ledge.
    2. Hop to the column below and keep left along another ledge to the left side.
    3. Climb as high as you can and hop across the columns on the right to a ledge. To its right is a chest with Themis’ Axe.
    4. Hop across the top-left column, climb up and follow the only path to the next screen.
  1. Next screen: more breakable floor. This time drop through to reach a cave and follow the only path out: you see a Djinni fall down another hole.
  1. Follow it by dropping through the holes. Follow the only path out of the cave, go down, climb a vine to the upper ledge and continue up and right.

Chasing the Djinni

  1. A screen with a wooden bridge, where the Djinni escapes across breakable floor you can’t cross. Go back to the left end of the bridge and head down.
  1. Climb down the vine and cross the two ropes to the right, to two pillars covered in ivy. Push the upper pillar left until it drops a level, climb onto it and go down its vine.
  2. Keep down and right to another vine to climb: you’re now on the far side of the floor you couldn’t cross. Carry on right: the Djinni escapes down a hole again.
  3. Climb down the vine to the ground and push the ivy pillar on your right to the right; climb on it and reach the ledge on the right. Hop across the two crumbling columns until one breaks and lets you continue up along the ground.
  1. Keep up, right and down to another ivy pillar: shift it with Move. Climb its vine and hop onto the crumbling column on the left to finish breaking it and reach a vine up to a ledge.
  2. Up there, push the pillar up and left until it drops a level. Climb down the vine and use Move to push that pillar left.
  3. Climb the vine again, hop onto the pillar you just moved and from it left to a ledge with a cave door.
  4. In the cave go down and right and through the next door: the Djinni again, and more breakable floor.
  1. There’s no way to the Djinni, but there is one to the door in the bottom-right corner. Go through and follow the only path outside. Head up to another breakable floor and drop through the half-broken hole highest up: you land right on the Djinni, which flees and drops the Pound Cube.
  1. Take the door on the right and follow the only path to a screen with two pillars and the Djinni. Before going after it, climb down the vine and Pound the first stake so it can’t escape over it. Then climb up and face it: Cannon.
  1. Climb the vine on the right, take the lower door and follow the only path outside. Go down all the stairs to leave the plateau.

On to Madra

  1. Once outside, head down to a boat moored on the shore (there’s nothing you can do with it yet).
  2. Follow the lower river left to a bridge and cross to the right bank. Go down, cross another bridge to the right and keep down and right to Madra.
