The Tower of Antsudlo is a water dungeon: almost every puzzle is about raising or lowering the water to reach something. Two keys get you inside, then the central chamber asks for four coloured pearls in two rounds, and a Valve Room finally leads to the blue one and the great door at the top. There is no boss, but there are new enemies worth knowing about, and the chest with the Rainbow Conch is easy to miss.

Getting in
- Note the device on the left as you arrive. Walk north for a Sapphire Key, come back and slot it into the device to power up the way ahead, then ride the path that opens.
| Enemy | Notes |
|---|---|
| Sharksenal | A school of fish that forms an axe and swings it. It starts guarding during the fight, so finish it with skills and boosted attacks. |
| Shrimp Knight | Makes copies of your party members. The copies have little HP but attack and count as extra enemies. Clear them with hit-all moves, then kill the knights so no new ones appear. |
| GooGoon | Shrugs off nearly every skill. Use plain attacks, which still only do around 5 damage each. |
- The building ahead is guarded by Shrimp Knights. After beating them, go northwest for a second Sapphire Key and ring the bell there: half the door unlocks.
- Go east, place the key on the pedestal and continue east. A chest there has Sapphire Ore, and a second bell opens the other half of the door.
- Enter the tower and use the device inside to drain the water. That uncovers a room with a save point, a campsite and Prawns in a corner. Save, rest and cook.
- Further in, the first GooGoon fight waits. Beyond it is a central chamber with two empty pillars and doors to the left and right: each side holds a pearl.
The Pink and Yellow Pearls
- Left room — Pink Pearl:
- Drain the water along the way and continue into a large room.
- Go to the north pool and climb its ladder to the Pink Pearl. Taking it lowers the water.
- A switch beside it opens a nearby gate: go through, head right and climb out of the pit.
- Go south, cross the bridge and win the fight (a Garnooy is among the enemies).
- Press the switch in the southeast corner; it opens the path ahead. Then go up the ladder, take the pearl and leave.
- Right room — Yellow Pearl:
- Same trick at the entrance: empty the water first.
- Dive into the pool on the north side and climb the ladder there as high as it goes. Head right, let yourself fall and press the switch below.
- Climb to the top again, go left this time and drop down to the Yellow Pearl. The water level falls.
- Grab the Prawns near the statue, then take the door to the south into a fight with knights. More Prawns sit where they were trapped.
- Back in the central chamber, put both pearls in place. The water rises — you can dive down, but there’s no reason to.
The Green and Purple Pearls
- Leave the chamber and swim to the right. Climb out and enter the next large room.
- Lever room — Green Pearl:
- Pull the lever in the northeast: a pipe slides into place.
- Work your way left and up to a second lever for the second pipe.
- From the middle, where the pipes come out, go right to a chest with the Thalassic Cloak. Only Serai can wear it, so equip it on her straight away.
- Use the ledges on the left to reach the third lever; pulling it activates the central puzzle.
- The central levers control the coral. Cycle each one until its red coral just touches the surface of the water.
- The Green Pearl is released and the water drops. Jump down for the Prawns to the north (enemies jump you afterwards) and clear the goo enemies to the southeast.
- Back in the central area, the newly raised walkways lead to the room on the left. This one has a raft.
- Raft room — Purple Pearl:
- Free the raft with the Mistral Bracelet and sail it south. Steer to the bottom, then right to the first turbine, then left to the second one.
- That opens the northern gates. On your way through, remember the switch sitting in the water.
- Skip the first landing and take the raft northeast to the second one. Climb up and press the switch there.
- Now you can reach the first landing: go there and take the Purple Pearl. The water drops.
- Get down to the water and press the switch to the south (the raft is just in the way by now). This opens the way to a chest with the Phosphorite Lid, an immediate upgrade for Garl.
- Return to the entrance of the room, picking up Prawns, and place both pearls. The water rises again.
The Valve Room and the Blue Pearl
- Leave the central area, swim left for more Prawns and take the door into what we’ll call the Valve Room. Up the ladder to the south are two empty spots for valves.
- The first valve:
- Jump down and go left to an open waterway. Ride the current: it carries you into another room.
- Get out of the water and beat the enemies. The Valve is on the floor.
- Swim back to the Valve Room, fit the valve and turn it. The pipes change, so the water tube now takes you somewhere new.
- The second valve:
- Climb out and hit the switch: the wall below drops, letting you jump up to the Blue Pearl. Taking it lowers the water.
- Go down for the second Valve, then climb the ladder nearby for two Prawns.
- You can’t leave while the water is low. Put the pearl back, use the water to reach the platform to the south and return to the Valve Room.
- The Blue Pearl:
- Fit the second valve and turn it. The top pipe is now open: jump in.
- You land at the top of the previous room. Go south for Prawns, then north to a switch.
- Drop down into the water and take the Blue Pearl. Then drop down and go through the door that just opened. A corridor leads back to the central area.
- Put the pearl into the object glowing blue. It opens the water pipe above.
- Make your way back through the other door to where you placed the Blue Pearl and climb the ladder. At the top are a save point and a huge door.
- Save, then interact with the door. The scenes show a vision of what happens when heroes fail, and of what could follow if this door opens. You meet the Archivist, hear about his former companion and see a hint of Resh’an’s power.
- In return for helping you, you’re asked to recover an artifact, without being told exactly what it is. Step through the portal: Chapter 15.
